[Tripos] SYBYL-X 1.3 업데이트

SYBYL의 새로운 업데이트 버전인 SYBYL-X 1.3가 출시 되었습니다.
SYBYL-X는 보다 편리해진 인터페이스와 기능을 제공하며, 이번 업데이트 부터 Linux 버전과 Windows XP 버전 외에 Mac 버전도 지원합니다.
이번 1.3 업데이트는 SYBYL-X 1.2에서 발견된 몇 가지 오류 수정 및 아래와 같은 변화들을 포함합니다.
Platform support:
• New: Mac OS-X 10.6.x with Snow Leopard
• New: Windows 7 as well as the traditional support for Windows XP
• Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and 5
QSAR Project Manager
• The QSAR modeling process is more efficient because tools for training/test set selection are now integrated in the project Manager
o Diversity
o Every Nth Structure
o Tripos‟ patented “SAR Map” technology which allows you to quickly visual structurally similarities
DiverseSolutions
• Updated to work on all supported platforms
Enhancements
• Use the new icon to terminate interactive energy minimization and dynamics runs.
• Several movies provide a quick introduction to various aspects of SYBYL-X workflows. All are accessible within the Tripos Bookshelf.
• The parameter database that encompasses the entire periodic table of elements is loaded automatically at the start of a SYBYL-X session.
SYBYL-X on Mac – what is different than other platforms?
As with SYBYL-X on Windows, users will find most of the familiar SYBYL suite available on Mac OS X, with the exception of Pentacle, VolSurf+, the VolSurf column types, UNITY‟s 2D SLN sketcher; RACHEL, and CombiLibMaker. Concord, Confort, ProtoPlex, and StereoPlex are available via the command line or in SYBYL-X via SYBYL-X‟s Ligand Preparation interface. The stand-alone X-windows style GUIs (xconcord, xconfort, xprotoplex, and xstereoplex) are only available under linux.
